Closed 2017 Law Student Scholarship Contest

Law Student Scholarship

This contest is closed

It takes time a significant amount of time and effort to become an attorney. It also takes money to pay for the education necessary become a member of the bar. The sacrifice is substantial, but so are the rewards. Along with them come, we believe, certain responsibilities. Making a difference in one’s community, or on a larger scale, can have a positive effect on individuals and on society. A law degree enables a person to help others, to help the community, and to help the world we live in to be a better place.

The process of becoming a lawyer is an expensive one. The cost of attending college, and then law school, can be staggering. At the same time, many prospective law students are also doing their best to support themselves and, in some cases, their families, while still in school. The scholarship being offered represents an effort to ease, to at least some degree, the financial burden of attending law school.
