My name is Phillip Sampson and I am a medically retired Army Bomb Technician. I have served on active duty for slightly over 10 years and was retired due to injuries sustained overseas. I am currently attending an undergraduate program at Northwestern State University of Louisiana. I have 7 classes remaining to accomplish a degree in management.
I understand that there are many who have served with great distinction and I am but one of many who could qualify. I ask that you please take a look at other veterans before you make a decision, as I know there are some who could use the help more than I. I appreciate your recognition of disabled veterans and what you are doing to help. It is humbling to see that people still care. Thank you.
